Many factors contribute to hair loss, including genetics, environment, lifestyle, stress, hormones, any chronic or long-term disease, diet, age, etc. The hormonal condition is known as "Male pattern baldness." For this, let us first understand the anatomy of the 'Hair.'
Baldness is a medical condition that affects some 25% of men in their 20’s and an astounding 2/3 of all men after the age of 60. Male-pattern baldness does not have any intrinsic side effects aside from hair loss, so many consider it a cosmetic medical condition, but for those who suffer from it, its effects can be devastating with social and psychological consequences. Male-pattern baldness is a result of a gene in the body that converts large quantities of testosterone into DHT (di-hydro testosterone). Hair loss occurs to some extent in 60–70% of all men. This balding process is caused by hereditary factors. You inherit the tendency to lose hair from either of your parents. This is transmitted through your genes. You may have this tendency even if your parents have full heads of hair; this is due to a process known as spontaneous mutation, in which the genetic information changes at conception.
Hair transplant is the extraction of hair along with its roots from the donor area (the back side of the head from ear to ear) and implanting it in the region of the baldness. The transplanted hair retains its own characteristics such as colour, texture, growth rate, and curl after transplantation and re-growth.
Yes. Hair Transplantation Works! In our skilled and experienced hands, with a proven track record, over 95% of transplanted grafts will grow. The grafted hair is maintained by the scalp’s rich vascular supply. The transplanted hair maintains its colour, texture, growth rate, and curl, and you can colour, cut, shave, and style it just like your own natural hair. In the past, punch grafts enabled the transfer of 15–20 follicular units, resulting in unnaturally "pluggy" results. Through the years, there has been so much improvement and refinement in hair transplantation that today, the use of single follicular unit grafts placed very close to each other with special implanters gives unbelievable naturalness and good results.
The hair is usually present in groups of 1 to 6. The entire unit of hair, along with its root, is known as a graft of follicular unit.
The number of grafts required for hair transplantation depends on three main factors.
  • Present stage of baldness
  • Desired hair line
  • Density required to cover specific area
The technique used at the H & H Clinic is a permanent, result-oriented technique. We use the most advanced automated technique, which has very little invasion, no cuts, no stitches, almost no pain, minimum bleeding, fast healing, and is extremely safe.
After the transplant, the hair growth takes place in the following phases:

1st Phase: Growth Hair grows for about 1-2 cm for the first 4-6 weeks from the day of getting the transplant done.

2nd Phase: Temporary Shedding The transplanted hair starts falling out. This phase will last for about 3 to 4 months.

3rd Phase: Consistent Growth Here, all your fallen implanted hair will regrow. This hair is identical to your natural hair and will continue to grow normally for the rest of your life.
There is no rest time required after the procedure. You can resume the work immediately the next day.
These transplanted hairs are your natural hair, so you get the natural look after the transplant. You can cut, style, curl, and colour this hair as well. You can treat this hair like your normal remaining hair.
The transplanted hair does not require any medication, but we prescribe medication for restoring your remaining hair.
